The vision
This is the first edition of a series of dance laboratories, which are going to happen over the next years in Lebanon. It's a pilot project that investigates the potentials of bringing a group of people together and working intensively with the body and its personal and cultural archive. This specific lab version has the aim to foster professional education in dance and to result in a public performance but we also imagine other formats, which could be accessible for a wider range of participants. We are curious to adapt our concept according to the diverse social environments and bring transformation into people's life through movement and dance.

Project outcome
- An outdoor dance performance (30') shown in Beirut, Hammana Artist House, French Institute Deir al- Qamar and in diverse villages across Lebanon;
- Documentation of the process and performance through photography and video;
- Written project report
